Break The Matrix: The Face of the Next Generation
This is my daughter, this is the face of the next generation
She will be left to pay all of the debts of this once great nation
She won’t have everything I had and more
The money’s been spent on bailouts, graft and war

Oh the crises are coming at a frightening speed
The dollar’s collapsing and the banks all need
Another five trillion to balance their books on the back
Of the next generation
This is my daughter, born in the land of the free
She’ll never know the way this country was meant to be
One place in the world where your life belonged to you
Not a king, not a pope, not the state did you need kneel down to
Oh the crises are coming at a frightening speed
The dollar’s collapsing and the banks all need
Another five trillion to balance their books on the back
Of the next generation
Our country’s dying from this fascist cancer
More regulation is their only answer
But freedom from Washington’s the only chance for the next generation
The constitution was the one thing due me
McCain and Obama are you listening to me
A slave of the state is the way you view me
And the next generation
This is my daughter, this is the face of the next generation…

The $175,000 per child figure at the end of the video is misleading. I’m afraid the problem is much worse. The average debt obligation of EVERY man, woman, and child of this country is $175,000 See http:// mwhodges.home.att.net/nat-debt/debt-nat-a.htm
The $175,000 number is calculated by dividing our $53 Trillion debt obligations by our 305 million population. BUT since less than half of our 305 Million citizens currently pay more than $0 in federal income taxes. What’s going to happen when our baby boomers retire and quit paying income taxes? If you want our children to have any hope for a comfortable future, we need to start living within our means. We need to AT LEAST start balancing our federal budgets and preferably start paying down our debts. It won’t be easy, but paying as we go is the only ethical thing to do.

Rick, I thought the most ethical thing to do would be to stop all the wars the U.S. is fighting and bring all its troops back home. None of these wars and none of those hundreds military bases all over the world is justified - nobody ever attacked the U.S., neither in 1940 nor in 2001. Also, the 305 million citizens have nothing to do with this multi-trillion debt - none of them has ever received a single cent of it.
