Moron United Airlines and Idiot CNN Reporting
Yesterday, a United Airlines flight from Munich to Washington, DC was diverted to Logan International in Boston to remove a female passenger who was sneezing and had either a cold or flu-like symptoms. The flight was delayed in Boston for 2 hours before taking off for DC with the rest of the over 200 passengers and crew. The ill woman was treated and released later that afternoon from the hospital.
So, what was accomplished? The flight was only 45 minutes away from landing in DC — why divert after all passengers and crew were already exposed to whatever she had? She was well enough to be released just a couple of hours later.
CNN jumped on the moronic story so fast, reporting the aircraft as a 737. This type of plane cannot cross an ocean and carry so many people. Then they changed it to a 777. Hmmm… seems like a fast panic story that needed to be imposed on the public.
Beyond all of this, the idea to divert a plane that was so close to landing at its destination after so many hours of flight because of a mildly ill passenger is absolutely mind-boggling. It was all to create panic and fear for travelers. Nothing more.
I have been on flights where passengers have had heart attacks and the plane continued hours before landing! Even if this woman really had a flu — so what! Almost every flight I have ever been on contained sneezing or coughing passengers.
United Airlines and CNN should be fined and penalized for such abusive actions and reporting!

Fear sells, and makes people easier to control, its as simple as that, and you can’t tell me that this surprises you.
